In a stunning display of talent and determination, Morocco’s U20 national team secured a historic 2-0 victory over Argentina in the U20 World Cup final. Following this monumental achievement, several players shared their reflections on the journey and the significance of their win.
Othmane Maamma, the tournament’s standout player, expressed his gratitude: “Being named the tournament’s best player is a recognition I owe first and foremost to my teammates. I am grateful for this honor. Everything we accomplished was dedicated to His Majesty the King and the Moroccan people, who supported us despite the time difference. We have achieved a feat that will be remembered.”
Yassine Gessime, another forward on the team, shared his emotional response, stating, “The feeling of winning the World Cup is indescribable.
