Sudanese Intelligence Chief Reviews Security in Blue Nile Region

Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, Director General of Sudan’s General Intelligence, recently inspected security conditions in Blue Nile Province. His visit aimed to assess social and economic conditions as well as public life in the area.
During his visit, General Mufadal held a comprehensive meeting with the Security Committee, which included Blue Nile Governor Ahmed Al-Omda Badi, the leadership of the Fourth Infantry Division, and representatives from police and various governmental bodies. The discussions focused on the current security and military landscape, challenges faced, and strategies to enhance stability in the region.
The General also reviewed preparations for implementing development programs aimed at improving living conditions, stimulating economic activity, and creating a favorable investment climate. Additionally, he addressed efforts to repatriate Sudanese refugees from South Sudan and mitigate security threats along the eastern border.
Governor Badi praised the visit as timely and well-organized, highlighting its significance for promoting security and stability. The Director General’s field tours, which have included several states, are widely regarded as crucial for strengthening security and fostering social stability.
